Who Is a good candidate for Microneedling?

If you have stable health conditions and have not been on Accutane in the last 6 months, you're a great candidate. Unfortunately, this treatment is not meant for individuals who are pregnant, have a pacemaker, metal implants, cancer, an autoimmune disease, uncontrolled diabetes, seizures, vascular disorders, or skin that forms keloids.


Pre-Treatment Care:

Preparing your skin for the Microneedling treatment is an essential step for optimal results. We suggest that you abstain from using any exfoliation treatments or products for about 3-5 days before your appointment to give your skin time to calm and prepare for the treatment. Additionally, we generally recommend pretreating with Alastin Nectar. Depending on your specific skin type, we may recommend additional preparations to optimize the results of treatment.


Post-Treatment Care:

Post-treatment care is designed to help your skin heal effectively and enhance the results of your treatment. There may be some slight discomfort, akin to cat-like scratches, and minor redness that should subside within 24-48 hours post-treatment. For optimal aftercare, we recommend using an Epionce kit and Alastin Nectar. Though those who receive treatment for acne scarring will benefit from an Avene kit in conjunction with Alastin Nectar. Makeup can be applied 24 hours after the treatment.
